Your personal data is used to: (a) create and maintain your matrimonial profile; (b) power our AI-matching engine to suggest compatible profiles; (c) perform KYC identity verification; (d) communicate with you about matches, account activity and platform updates; (e) prevent fraud and ensure platform safety; (f) comply with applicable Indian laws and regulations.
3. Information Sharing
We share your profile information with other registered members strictly according to your privacy settings. We do not sell, rent or lease your personal data to third parties for commercial marketing. We may share data with government authorities when legally mandated or to protect the safety of our users.
4. Horoscope & Sensitive Data
Astrological data including birth date, time, place, kundali charts and manglik status is treated as sensitive personal information. This data is shared only with users you have explicitly permitted to view it. Our AI systems process this data locally without external transmission.
5. Data Security
We implement AES-256 encryption for data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel under strict confidentiality obligations. We conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to maintain the highest security standards.
6. Data Retention
Active profile data is retained for the duration of your membership plus 12 months. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through your account settings. Certain data may be retained longer if required by law or for fraud prevention purposes.
